The Caravan is the player app of Dice and Dunes Limited, trading as Dice & Dunes, licence MC 14969, Masdar City, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. "We" and "us" mean Dice & Dunes.
You need an account to book and play. Give your real details, keep them up to date and keep your sign-in codes to yourself. One account per person.
If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree before you can book. They can withdraw that consent at any time.
Prices are in UAE dirhams and include VAT. Bookings made in the app are paid when you book. If you are not checked in 15 minutes after the start (30 for members who tell us they are running late), your seat can go to the next person.
Refunds follow the refund rules, which you agree to when you pay.
Memberships are paid online and renew every month on the same card until you cancel. Cancel any time in Membership; it runs to the end of the month you paid for.
Passes carry over for one month. Founder price lasts while the membership stays active; if it lapses, the founder price is gone.
Your gamertag, results and rank are public on the ladder and in brackets. Players report results and a judge settles disagreements; the judge decides on the night. We may correct a result later if a mistake is found.
A photo for your token must be yours to use and suitable for a venue with younger players. We may remove anything that is not.
We film and photograph some events. Your choice in Settings, "Happy to appear" or "Please keep me out", is respected by our team.
The code of conduct applies at the venue, at our events elsewhere and in our online spaces such as Discord. We may warn, remove, suspend or ban anyone who breaks it.
We improve The Caravan often and may change or stop features. If a change to these terms affects you, we tell you in the app before it applies.
Look after your own cards and belongings. We are not responsible for loss or damage to them except where the law says we are. Nothing here limits rights you have under UAE law.
These terms follow the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and the courts of Abu Dhabi decide any dispute.
